Local CEO Named One of the 2011 Enterprising Women of the Year
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC, January 10, 2011 – Local businesswoman Madhu Beriwal, President and CEO of global risk management firm IEM, has been named one of Enterprising Women magazine’s 2011 Enterprising Women of the Year. Beriwal relocated IEM’s corporate headquarters from Louisiana to the Research Triangle Park in 2010.
The Enterprising Women of the Year awards are given annually to the top women entrepreneurs in North America who have fast-growth businesses, are leaders in their communities, and who actively support other women and girls interested in entrepreneurship. From an unprecedented number of nominees in 2011, Beriwal is one of five women entrepreneurs selected to win the award in the category of businesses with over $25 million in annual revenue.
