RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC, September 19, 2011Global consulting firm IEM announced today that it has named Ted Lemcke Chief Operating Officer, effective October 1. Lemcke will oversee key company operations with a focus on maintaining and enhancing operational excellence and efficiency.

“This new position helps IEM better align structure with strategy,” said Madhu Beriwal, IEM President and CEO. “Ted’s primary goal will be increasing operational effectiveness within IEM to help our customers continue achieving their goals in the face of resource constraints.”

Lemcke is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He has a Master’s degree in Environmental Science. Since 1993, Lemcke has been at IEM, most recently serving as Vice President of Engineering and Technology. He has held several other key executive management and operating positions during his 30-plus year professional and military career, including Vice President of Core Technologies and various command and staff positions.

Lemcke will move from Virginia to IEM Headquarters at the Research Triangle Park.
